Strike Tree!

Our willow strikes arrived in the mail yesterday, courtesy of Living Willow Farm. After growing it for some time, we've been really inspired by willow this year. The sculpture by Patrick Dougherty at the Botanic Gardens in DC was part of the inspiration for me:

As was the demo done by Common Farm Flowers during COVID. I never would have gone to Somerset for a wreath making workshop, but I did one on Zoom and it was great. I made and decorated a few, and they just kept getting more fun and better looking.
